Bye Bye Hot Tub

Last weekend our very much loved hot tub departed to serve for a new owner.

We had so much fun in it.

Papa proposed Mama in it at the first use at our patio.

The laptop which was broadcasting our wedding was sitting on this tub.

But honestly, it costed Toli so much time, trouble and money to maintain it.

I'm very glad there was someone who does the job of carrying out and taking it away.

Craigslist is awesome.

とうとう我が家の浪費家、ホットタブとのお別れです。

古いのを買った物で、壊れるし光熱費が異常にかかるし、

トリがたくさんの労力、時間、お金を費やした後の決断。

お砂場セットでも置こーうっと！

April 22-23 While Papa is working hard.....

Last week, Papa had a business trip to Portland, OR.

We considered tagging along and staying with Onos but we decided to drive down to stay with Kana, Lena and Sola in Los Altos while their papa was on his business trip.

先週、トリが珍しく出張で１泊留守にしている間に、かなのお宅へお泊まりに出かけてきました。かなのご主人も出張中。

ガールズタイムを満喫♡

We first went to "south bay's famous" very good Japanese food for dinner.

Yes. We made mess....

They needed to do mid-point sweep.

Lena and Sola got matching dresses today.

That's ok, Maya. You'll have a little brother or sister someday....

Lena is doing Maya's hair.

Oh the night was fun....

Mama and Kana had wine and chat till 4 in the morning.

I would still stay up late even I knew you would wake up at 6.

Then we went to an amusement park called Happy Hollow.

It was fun!!!

Maya took time to get used to but she did touched and pet the goats.

She climbed up so high.

It's a whole new world!

Maya had seen many of these, but it was the first time she had a ride on carousel.

そしてこれは金曜日、かなとご主人が食事に出かける間、子供達うちでお留守番。

Sorry for not posting for a while.
I've been having so much fun with Maya and I started working for more real, I got no time to organize photos, upload videos and write posts.

She understands so much now. I can talk to her. She can tell me what she does and doesn't want.
She remembers people's names. She has favorite songs and dances.
She says thank you and sorry. She comes over to give me kisses.
It's so much fun to be with her. (Of course a lot of work too, without saying.)

I know every parents say the same thing about their kids, but.....
Maya is pretty, cute, fun, funny, smart, entertaining, friendly, lovely,..............
until she gets loud, stubborn, messy and annoying. Still, her cuteness wins.

最近のおしゃべり情報。

毎日毎日、新しい言葉をどんどん発するマヤ。
ほとんどの言葉が（多少間違えてても）私に意味が伝わる程のクオリティー。

今日は帰宅後、夕方のスナックを食べ終わったタイミングで急に「ぱっぱこ！ぱっぱこ！」と繰り返しだし、体を動かしているんで「あ、おんまはみんなぱっぱかはしる〜♪かな？」と聞くとテレビ画面を指差し「ぱっぱこ！ぱっぱこ！！」
最近見せてる実家から送ってくれるDVDに入っているこの音楽が聞きたかったらしく、つけてあげると大興奮。特にこの曲の所では「ぱっぱこーーーーーー！！！」とクライマックス。おさるさんの歌では「あいあい〜あいあい〜♪」と頭を掻く仕草。
しまじろうのパペットが出て来ると、慌てて自分のおもちゃコーナーから同じのをとってきて手にはめてご満悦。

数日前には「てぇび」「みる」とはっきりテレビの視聴を要求。
昨日は夜おまるに座らせてる時に、急に「トゥー」と言って指で「２」を示そうと何やら手でこちょこちょ苦戦。ピースの形にしたい時、どうしてもやってしまうのが、左手は薬指と中指を合わせ、右手は人差し指と中指を合わせる、という妙なサイン。私は英語で数字を教えた覚えがないので、きっとその日の日中デイケアで習って来たんだな。。。

もう１ヶ月程前から足関係はお気に入りのボキャブラリー。きっとオムツ替えで何度も耳にする言葉だからかな。「はくぅ〜」や「あしぃ〜」はきちんと使いこなす。でも「あしぃ〜」は結構ソックスの事も靴の事を意味してたりもする。私がよく「はい、立っちして」と言うので「たっちぃ〜」も。

最近は「バイバイ」に加えパパには「パカ」とロシア語で。これ、先週トリが朝マヤをデイケアに落とした際に先生に言われて気づいた！私には「バイバイ」と手をふるけど、トリには「パカ」と。
ごちそうさまは難しいので、もう食べ終わったと伝えたい時はお皿にむかって「バイバイ」と手を振る。

これも１ヶ月程前から、Bで始まる言葉が言い易いらしく、"ball"はきれいに英語で発音し、バナナは「ばぁーりゃ」といった感じ、バルーンは言えないけど「b」の発音だけ発する。鳥の "bird" はなんとなくそんな感じに聞こえるというクオリティだったので、「とり」と日本語で教えると「とRぃ」に始まり、今はきちんと日本語の音で「とり」。これと父親の名前がごっちゃになり、なぜかパパもたまに日本人風に「とり」や「とRぃ」と典型的な日本人的間違った発音で呼ばれる。

りんごだけはきれーぃに英語で「apple」と言う。
ミルクは「ミルカ。」鼻は「nose」。食べ物全般は手話もしながら「あんあんあん。」あったかい料理は「ふーふー。」

もっといろいろと思い出したいけど、とりあえずこんな感じ。
