On the way there, we went to explore another spot for a good view of the city.
As we were parking on the street at the little trail entrance, I saw a young mom running down the trail with her stroller.
"Looks like we can bring Maya in a stroller. She's sleeping so let's do that."...... I said.
Turns out, the view from the hill top was beautiful but the trail was not at all stroller friendly.
The mom I saw must be doing this everyday with previous knowledge of the trail.
サンフランシスコ界隈の絶景ポイントを探すのが好きな私たち。先週末も友人宅へ向かう途中「あの丘からの景色はどんなもんだろう？」とちらっと登ってみることに。
丘の上に続く散歩道のふもとに車を停めていたところ、ベビーカーを押してその坂を駆け下りて来るママが見えたので、私、軽い気持ちで「ベビーカーでも行けるみたいだよ。真弥寝てるし、このまま寝かしてベビーカーで行こうか。」
あのママがどうやってここをベビーカーを押して登って降りて来たのかわからないけれど、山の散歩道によくある木の階段やらゴトゴトの岩が張りでた道やらで、えれーこっちゃ。ベビーカーを担いで登る頑固な父親と、そのベビーカーの中で眠り続けるこれまた頑固な子供。そしてそれを見て「よくやるなぁ〜」と笑う無責任な言い出しっぺの私。
てっぺんからの景色は最高でした ：）
