Welcome visitors. Maya likes new friends.

Jan. 30.

Chi Hui, who has been making lots of tasteful things for both me and Maya since my pregnancy.  She makes tasty lunch with fresh ingredients harvested in the morning from her garden.  The lunch box she brings to me or prepares at her place is always a special treat with lots of good energy.  She also sew Maya her favorite blanket and her first kimono she wore to come home from the hospital on her day 3.

いつも自宅の菜園の貴重な収穫物で美味しいランチをごちそうしてくれる、ぢひちゃん。

真弥のお気に入りのブランケットも、産着も作ってくれたのもこのおばちゃん。真弥、ぢひちゃんだーいすき。

Jan. 31.

Kana went to high school and college with me in Sapporo.  She is one of the reason I chose Bay area to move when I first came to the US seven years ago.  We lost contact for a while after she had the first baby, Lena who is no longer a baby.  But after we found we both had baby girls born only two days diference (the due dates were the same!), we reconnected and she visited us with newborn baby Sola and her big sister, Lena.

地元札幌で、高校、大学と一緒だった、かな。一人目の出産からご無沙汰していたけれど、二人目の女の子がうちと予定日が全く一緒だったことにFacebookで気づき、再会。

莉奈ちゃんももうお姉さんになって、すっかり蒼空（そら）ちゃんの面倒をみれるようになっていました。真弥も遊んでもらってご機嫌。やっぱり兄弟っていいな。

After they left, we found Lena rearranged the dolls this way.
Those pink and green things must be really popular.
みんなの帰宅後、莉奈ちゃんの可愛い仕業を発見。
ピンクさんと緑さんは何者なんだろ？ずいぶんな人気。

Feb. 2.

Veronica again!

She is the sweetest :)  Not only she shares her awesome Orbit stroller with Maya, she offers all the pillows to Maya because Veronica likes lots of pillows around herself. 

おなじみのヴェロニカちゃん。

自分がクッション大好きだから、マヤちゃんも好きかなーと思って、

寝ているマヤちゃんにたっくさんクッションを持って来てくれました。
