Being Sick Sucks!

The fever Maya got in the afternoon of the last Wednesday has been settled down.

She still didn't seem to be getting better in the morning of Friday, 

so I brought her to her doctor before the weekend.

We found she had an ear infection.

She've been taking antibiotics twice a day.

Her fever went away in the Saturday morning so stopped taking acetaminophen.

結局金曜の朝になっても調子が悪そうだったので、週末に入る前に病院へ。

中耳炎（でいいのかな？）になってると。

抗生物質と解熱剤で治療。

It is so hard to convince her to take a nap normally,

but seems like she can sleep anywhere now she's feeling sick.

普段ならどうやっても昼寝が苦手なのに、調子がよっぽど悪いのか、

どこでも寝れる様子。

ある意味、らく。

Even while she is having sick, she is still growing.

She started pulling herself to stand up at the couch.

具合が悪くても成長はしています。

今まで「つかまらせ立ち」だったのが、自分でよっこいしょと「つかまり立ち」が

出来る様になりました。

We thought she may be ready for her first assisted step.

But not so much.

ということで、早速一歩歩いて貰おうかと装着。

歩く気はまだないらしい。

Got distracted.

The Violet puppy talks to Maya and sings for her.

On Sunday, we went out to breath fresh air.

We went to Fort Funston.

We sat in the car for an hour and half or so waiting for Maya to wake up

before we could go for a walk.

ずーっと家に籠ってるので、少し外の空気を吸いに日曜の午後お出かけ。

行きの車で乗った途端に眠り、二時間近く起きずに車でマヤ待ち。

そのうちに日が暮れて来ちゃった。。。

Today (Monday), she've been awake and happy.

We stayed home all day in case (and because I'm not feeling better still.)

I think we can stop giving her the antibiotic after tomorrow.

今日はもう大分調子が回復している様子。

いつもにないくらい長い昼寝をソファでしたから、まだ本調子ではないのかなと

思うけれど、そろそろ抗生物質をあげるの止めたいなぁ。。。

それにしても、私の風邪はいつ治るんだろう。
