Feb. 20. Going out with Big Maya 大っきいマヤちゃんとお出かけ。

新しいお友達、マヤちゃん。

彼女も日本人のお母さんとユダヤ人のお父さんの長女。

１歳年上。昨年末に日本から近所に引っ越してきたそう。

先日初めて遊んで、それ以来マヤちゃんは自慢げに

自分の事を「おっきいまや」と読んでるそう。

昨日は日本語、ロシア語の絵本が借りられる図書館へ一緒に行ってから、

日本のスーパーでお買い物をしてきました。

Did I tell you we've met another Jewpanese Maya?

This is "big Maya."

We went to check out Japanese and Russian books at a library yesterday.

Big Maya held Little Maya's hand and we walked together slowly slowly from the car.

This is the play those two Mayas created.

Big Maya gets letters from the wall and hand them to Little Maya,

Little Maya put those letters in the square hole on the cube.

They play nicely together.

I think they feel "the Maya connection."
