Wednesday, we took flights: SF to Atlanta & Atlanta to Chattanooga. Maya did great in both flights. She smiled to everyone, ate and slept well. I felt very easy to travel because people were so nice to us.
Maya was all happy until.....
she saw my sister at the Chattanooga airport. Somehow she is very afraid of Etsuko. My guess is that we sound the same and look alike but she is not her mama so she gets confused.
She took all day yesterday to get used to the new environment; the bigger house, air conditioned rooms, her summer outfits, newly met family..... She's doing better today.
