From the beginning Maya loves anything to do with feet. Words to mean foot; "foot" in English, "ashi" in Japanese and "nogu (nogi)" in Russian were the first thing she started saying in all three languages.
If I leave her long enough, she puts her socks by herself (like today). And can put one side of the shoe like this time in the pics.
To take them off when we come home, she has this routine: sits on the stair, take one shoe off, gets up with the shoe to put it in her shoe box, sits there again, take the other one off, put that in the box, goes in to the house, sits on the floor, take one sock off, goes to our bedroom, put the sock in the laundry basket, sits there, take the other one off and put it in to the laundry. If you interrupt, she gets upset. If you don't help her at the right moment, she gets upset. And she wants to be pleased by seen and told "good job!" What a girl.....
