Jan 18-20. Monterey Weekend 一月の三連休

The usual Bernal Girls Club drove out far from the city and 

went to Monterey for the long weekend.

Thanks to Sachi's research and organization, we stayed in a perfect house 

to accommodate three families.

いつものご近所３家族で北へ２時間半、モントレーまで行ってきました。

さっちが時間を費やしていろいろ調べてくれ、決めてくれたお陰で

スムーズにとっても良い家に泊まる事ができました。

The house had a small playground in the back.

Tho Maya still doesn't like sandbox.

マヤは砂場の砂が嫌い。

手に着くとすごく嫌がる。。。

Papa is mean!!!

Maya was always around Francesca because she always creates some tasty things.

(Francesca makes food for Lea.  Maya shows up the first and stays so Lea can't come close...)

小食な愛娘のレアちゃんにとフランチェスカが食べ物を用意する度に、

うちの子が「何何？？何持ってるの？」と猛烈アピールで接近。

レアちゃんに近づく隙も与えず、結局フランチェスカはいつもマヤに餌付けをしてる状態に。

Spent all day in Aquarium.

日曜日はアメリカで最大級の水族館。

Jellyfish exhibition was the best part of the aquarium!

....mainly because three girls were asleep.

子供達が寝てる間にクラゲの展示ではしゃぐ大人達。

Back at home.

We missed the beach in Monterey.

Maya tried out her new bathing suits she wanted to wear when we got chance.

本当は月曜日も祭日で休みなのでこの週末に出かけたんだけど、

トリが連休なのを忘れて入れた仕事の予定を遂行しなければならず、

早朝にモントレーを出発しトリを途中で落として帰宅。

モントレーと言えばビーチもあるのに、行けなかったので、

帰宅後新しい水着を着てみるマヤ。

It was great weekend.

I'm so thankful to have these wonderful family friends.

あー、楽しかった！

友達ってすばらしいっ！！

まだクリブで昼寝が出来ないマヤです。

写真は２−３週間前からのものです。

このくらいの歳の子は午前、午後、一度づつの昼寝をある程度定時にクリブで

出来るはずなんだけど。。。。

とにかく昼寝が苦手なままのマヤ。

午前は抱っこバンドで寝たり寝なかったり。

夕方はカーシートで寝たり寝なかったり。

そして少し動かすと起きるので、寝ている時は移動できず、非常に厄介。

最近は託児所でも、お迎えの時に

「おうちでも練習してください。ずっと抱っこはしてられませんよー。」

と毎回言われるしー。。。

歩き出したらきっと気分も落ち着いて、疲れ果てて寝てくれると思うんだけどなー。

She still can't take naps in her crib.

I swear I've been trying.

Tho it never works.

I end up carrying her or drive around to let her sleep.

出先で車でこう寝られてしまうと身動きとれず、

やたらとマヤ待ちの時間を過ごしている私。。。

こっちではチラッとでも車に子供を残して出ると捕まっちゃうしね。

I spend a lot of time in stopped car when we get to the destination and Maya is asleep.

ある日、丘に月が落ちてた風景。

「こぼさない様に食べてね」って言ったのに。。。。

放っといたら、、、

キレイになってた！

そして「もっとくれ」とこの顔。
