しばらく前にお友達のみっちゃんに頂いて、
事ある事に着せている一番のお気に入りのドレス。
そろそろ着れなくなる日も近づいてきてるようないないような。
今回のデコレーションはこのドレスをベースに配色や何か考えました。
We had a great First Birthday Party at Toli's cousin, Julia's house in St. Louis.
I'm glad we could celebrate it with her cousins, grandparents, other family and friends.
(And I'm really glad that we could get Julia's help with this. I would have no idea how to throw kids' party.....)
トリの従姉妹、ジュリアの助け＆お宅を借りて、マヤの１歳を盛大にお祝いしました。
トリの家族に加え、中学高校時代からの友達もその子供達を連れて来てくれ、
楽しいパーティーになりました。
飾り付けは私のお手製。マヤのケーキはトリのお母さん、バブシュカが焼いてくれ、私がデコレーションしました。バブシュカはこの他にもお客さん用に何種類もケーキを作ってくれ、料理もいっぱいで盛りだくさん。
従姉妹達がいたので、マヤの機嫌も良く、可愛さ炸裂ぅ〜♡

Cousins!
沢山遊んでくれた従姉妹たち。
And Today (Dec.3) I took Maya to 1 year check-up at her pediatrician.
She has nothing to concern about and very healthy. (Well, it's not like we didn't know....)
Her length (29.5inch) and weight (20lb) are right at 50% on the growth chart.
Though head size (47cm) is rather bigger side..... ;)
She got vaccination and flu shots, one on her left thigh and two on her right thigh.
The doctor was warning it would sting a bit and actually would be a little painful,
but getting the shots from a good looking male nurse wasn't bad.
She was pointing and smiling at him the whole time.
She didn't even care she was getting shots.
What a easy baby.
昨晩セントルイスから帰宅、今朝は１歳検診で小児科に行ってきました。
身長も体重もぴったり平均値。頭だけが大きめ。
他はまったく健康体。
「今回の注射はちょっと痛いんだよね。」って言われてたけど、
イケメンの看護師さんに指を指し微笑みかけてる間に予防接種３発終了。
まぁ、簡単な子だ。
家ではやっぱり日本から帰国した時と同様、一人になりたくなく、
遊ぶ時も一緒にいなきゃ泣き叫ぶし、お昼寝も抱っこバンドじゃなきゃ寝ないし、
ちと大変。
あー、良かった、明日デイケアだ。
私の風邪もいい加減長引き過ぎでヘトヘト。治さなきゃ。。。
