Jan. 3. Meeting the newest cousin!

This is my host-parents from Portland, OR with Maya.  

They are visiting my host-brother in the East Bay who just had their second daughter on Dec. 30.

ポートランドのホストファミリーのお父さん、お母さんと真弥です。

お父さんとお母さんは、うちから３０分ほどの所に住むホストブラザー、アリステアの次女の出産に立ち会うために来ていました。

Maya's closest cousin, Layla.  They ended up arriving in a same month.  Though this 30 days difference is huge!  Layla felt so light and fragile.  I already forgot how Maya felt when she just came home.

真弥と３０日違いで産まれたレイラちゃんです。３０日しか違わないのに、抱いた感覚は全然別。真弥ちゃんもこんなに軽くてフワフワしてたっけ。。。

The house was full of baby girls.   

We came home with the right one.

この家はちっちゃい女の子だらけ。

間違えずにうちの子を連れて帰りました。
