It was the shortest but the worst flight I had with Maya. She screamed happy or unhappy. I'd been thinking it'd been so much easier to spend time with maya now she can play on her own for such a long time.... I didn't think that she actually prefers to play by herself until today's flight. She didn't want to be held and directed to play with toys I put in front of her. She refused to be held while I could not put her down anywhere. It was very difficult to have her agree with the arrangement. 1.5 hours.... I don't even want to think about the 10 hour flight to Japan we are taking next week.
Once we got to Portland, she has been great. She immediately smiles to Grammy and Jiji. She got used to the house pretty easily. She sat through our three course dinner, took bath and fell a sleep reasonably easy in a pack n play.
.....until the radio alarm went off with loud bird sound right by her at midnight. I must've touched a wrong place and turned on the alarm when I was trying to plug video monitor in. Oops. She went back to sleep now. I should sleep too.
I was too busy catching up with mom and dad, I haven't taken any photo of Maya. How's this?
