Our friends, Tsurumi family left for Japan.
They lived in Burlingame; south of SF, 30min away as long as I know them.
They are such a warm, fun and lovely family, Yo-san, Mai-chan & Len-kun.
They will apply for visa next year and hopefully they will be back in a year and a half.
Len-kun will be so grown by the time we'll see him next time.
He is my favorite. He walks barefoot everywhere. He always have strawberry stain on his face.
When he cries, anyone would offer a strawberry, that's the end of the fuss.
For him "a pie" or "a cake" is something people throws at his parents.
(They have this tradition of throwing pies on their faces to celebrate any occasion.)
I will miss them so much.
I love and respect Mai-chan a lot.
I can't wait for them to come back.
They have to come back.
All the kids went to say bye to Len-kun.
I'm sure other travelers who were checking in to this flight got terrified
thinking all of us would be on their flight.
ちなみにこの日、託児所二日目だったんだけど、
初おまるでうんちに成功。
おまるに座らせてみたキャシー先生もびっくり。
This was the second day at Maya's daycare.
She succeeded to poop on a potty.
A big milestone.
